“Improvisation is the engine of my way of painting”, explains Bianca Dakli, an artist born in Rome and presently based in Berlin Germany.

Sailing in the melodious and cadenced waters of abstraction Bianca’s compositions are all about natural movement, instinctive impulse, and mellifluous rendition.

Being a dancer and an artist, she finds an ingrained resonance between two art forms, that dictate the flux of visual terminologies. Constantly improvising, the colour palette streams a record of his spontaneous state of mind.

Although her artworks do not limit to the essence of memoir, she is equally inspired by the natural forms that emerge at regular intervals. Impasto-kind strokes epitomize her intrepid attitude, rejecting the standard norms and formulas of conventional art practice. Characterized by intense textural surfaces, her advent of painting began way long after she completed her graduation in contemporary dance from London.

Bianca asserts no connection to political or social concepts, rather she affirms that her painting operates with the objective to provide an emotional trigger. Discovering the healing and therapeutic stance, her works are an effort to channelize the potential energy into a synchronized release, which is energetic, bold, and intuitive.

Imbibing an essence of peace and harmony, the sublime and transparent application is key to seeing the beyond. Significantly the titles of the artworks straddle a vast expanse of natural elements, directing the audience-psyche to cultivate an optimistic and rejuvenating mood.

Concluding over the journey of undulating life, Bianca shares, “What I do today is the result of knowing what I didn’t want to do and getting over some scary bumps along the way.
